(Photo by Jamie Sabau/Getty Images)For the majority of Saturday night’s contest between Penn State and Ohio State, Nittany Lions fans were an excitable bunch. Penn State led 13-7 at the half and eventually built a 26-14 lead midway through the fourth quarter. But the Nittany Lions couldn’t hold the lead, and gave up two touchdowns in the final seven minutes to suffer one of the most heartbreaking defeats in years. Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins found Binjimen Victor for a 47-yard touchdown with just under seven minutes to play – and the game-winner came on a 24-yard pass from Haskins to K.J. Hill. Ohio State wound up winning 27-26.As a result, yes, it’s fair to say that the fans in “Happy Valley” on Saturday night were a bit sad after the contest. At least, that’s what Ohio State running back Mike Weber is saying. Weber took to Instagram to troll Penn State and its fans after the contest. It’s a post that will probably be used as bulletin board material this offseason for the Nittany Lions:Weber himself didn’t have his best game – with 51 yards on nine carries and one catch for five yards – but his team won, and that’s all that matters.Ohio State, with the win, is very much alive when it comes to the College Football Playoff. Penn State now probably needs to win out and get help to have any chance of that happening. The Nittany Lions will have a week off to lick their wounds. They get Michigan State on October 13.
