GoodSports in Aberdeen is holding registration for a number of leagues and camps for the next several months. Recreational roller hockey for ages 5-8 starts Dec. 8 and Dec. 7 for ages 9-12. The cost is $130 per player and includes a jersey. It will be a 10-game season. Youth roller hockey teams (divisions of U8, U10, U12, U14 and U17) starts Dec. 7 and 8. Cost is $130 per player. There is a minimum of 10 players per team and it is a 10-game season. A seven-week youth instructional roller hockey league starts Nov. 7 and 8. The cost is $110, and is for ages 4-6 (4-5 p.m.) and 7-10 (5-6 p.m.). A Power Skate roller hockey camp for experienced players (U10 and U12) starts Nov. 7 and 8. Cost is $45 per child and it runs from 1-3 p.m. A free roller hockey clinic will be held Nov. 21 for ages 6-12 from 6-7 p.m. Full equipment is required. A Monday night men’s roller hockey league starts Dec. 16. Tuesday street hockey starts Dec. 17. Wednesday men’s open starts Dec. 4. And Thursday/Friday over-30 and over-40 leagues start Dec. 12 and 13. The cost is $1,195 per team, with a $400 deposit. Men’s open soccer winter leagues start Nov. 5. Cost is $1,195 per team. There will be 10 games played on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Indoor recreation soccer starts Dec. 14. Games will be played every other Saturday at 5 p.m. Cost is $75 per child. Cost is $450 per team. Girls’ high school soccer mini-sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday nights begin Dec. 3. Guaranteed six games. Cost is $70 per player. Minimum of 12 players per team. Boys’ high school soccer on Sundays and Mondays begins Dec. 1 Guaranteed eight games. Cost is $90 per player. Men’s open cash soccer tournament will be held on Nov. 30 from 5 p.m.-midnight. Dave Coraggio’s 21 points helped the Hawks beat the Suns 64-60 in last Thursday’s playoff action for Mac’s Fun Ball basketball league in Middletown. On Friday, Coraggio scored another 21 points to help lead the Hawks past the Heat, 57-46. Also on Friday, Bobby Zebrowski stole the ball and hit a 40-foot jumper at the buzzer to give the Knicks an exciting 84-81 win over the Kings. Jermaine Bardin and Sean Gilbertson each scored 19 points for the winners. Billy Garreson’s 35 and Ray Locicero’s 29 points led the Kings. On Saturday, Tom McDermott’s 29 points led the Bucks past the Hawks to earn a trip to the finals against the Bulls. The Bulls beat a scrappy Knicks team, 61-59, with Greg Giordona leading the way with 14 points. Randy Kirk led the Knicks with 16. In Sunday’s final, Ryan Peguts scored 22 points as the Bulls clinched the fall league championships with a 69-64 win. Mike Nunes led the Bulls with 19. Middletown Youth Athletic Association (MYAA) basketball will hold registration for its winter recreation season for boys and girls, ages 8-15, according to the following schedule: Nov. 9, Bodman Park Clubhouse, 9 a.m.-noon; Nov. 12-15, Thorne Middle School gym, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.; and Nov. 16, Bodman Park Clubhouse, 9 a.m.-noon.
